Are you pet friendly?
Cats and dogs are welcome! We allow up to two pets per apartment. Please inquire about our breed restrictions—there is no weight limit. All applicants and residents must complete PetScreening prior to move-in and at renewal.
What is needed to submit an application?
To apply, you’ll need your valid photo ID, basic personal information, and proof of income (one month of paystubs, three months of bank statements, or recent tax returns). Additionally, application fees are due at the time of applying, so you’ll need either your bank information or a credit/debit card to cover those fees.
Is this a smoke free community?
Yes, Alto Apartments is committed to maintaining a healthy and smoke-free environment for all residents and guests. Smoking is strictly prohibited on the property, with designated areas located at least 100 feet away to ensure everyone’s comfort and well-being.
How long does the application process take?
The application process for approval at Alto Apartments typically takes 72 business hours. The application portion itself typically requires only 15 to 30 minutes to complete, ensuring a streamlined and efficient experience for prospective residents.
How much to apply?
The Application Fee is $50 one time. Required to process each applicant’s application. Non-refundable. In addition, there is an Administration Fee of $150.
What are the income requirements?
We require a total household income of at least three times the monthly rent (before taxes).

Shawnee Mission Park & Lake Lenexa, if you’re looking to stay outdoors, all less than 10 minutes away. The Lenexa Public Market & Oak Park Mall offer local vendors, eateries and events, with Oak Park Mall being one of the largest in the region. Lenexa is a vibrant area which makes Alto a prime spot to enjoy a variety of fun activities with new additions in the works!

Yes, Alto Apartments provide residents with the convenience of on-site maintenance services. Our dedicated maintenance team is readily available to address any service requests promptly and efficiently, ensuring residents’ comfort and satisfaction.

Alto Apartments boast a plethora of luxurious amenities designed to enhance residents’ lifestyles. A pet spa, maker’s space, reservable conference rooms, an enclosed mail room with a separate space for packages, a fitness center, theater, dog park, and an aqua lounge with a resort-style pool. Outdoor amenities such as firepits, and gas-powered grills provide endless opportunities for recreation and socialization.
